Brittney Gutierrez

Brittney works closely with numerous climate & energy programs to positively impact the Sierra Nevada region by working with local public agencies, small businesses, and residents to become more energy efficient and reduce carbon emissions. 

Brittney is local to Reno, NV and grew to have a passion for the environment and sustainability while exploring the Great Basin and Tahoe region. After graduating with a B.S in Environmental Science and a minor in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation at the University of Nevada, Reno, Brittney worked at an education-based nonprofit to expand its impact on the community. In her free time, she loves to spend time with family and friends,run, hike, read, discover new restaurants and coffee spots, and is continuously trying to improve her Spanish and remain close to her Nicaraguense roots.
