Connie is the Founder and Principal Consultant of Counterbalance Strategies, serving nonprofits, foundations, and mission-driven organizations in leadership & operations, policy advocacy, coalition management, organizational strategy, fund development, and more.
Connie’s previous roles include General Manager at Lift Cowork, Conference, and Wellness Center and Founder and Executive Director of BitGive, the first Bitcoin 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and Senior Policy Consultant at Conservation Strategy Group, among other roles in nonprofit program management and environmental planning. Connie has extensive experience with environmental nonprofits in California, specializing in consulting, strategy development, policy and advocacy, funding assistance, and program management. Most notably, her work included landmark statewide policy and multi-million dollar public funding programs for conservation, climate change resilience, water resources, and urban sustainability. When not in the office, you’ll find Connie skiing or paddle boarding around Lake Tahoe.
