
As associate director of the Sierra SBDC, Jessica accelerates innovative solutions in rural economic development by working directly with companies to provide technical assistance and collaborating with community partners on targeted effective programming. She loves supporting the small business community in a variety of ways and also currently serves on the Truckee Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
Jessica received BA degrees in both Geography and Spanish with a minor in General Business from the University of Denver and was able to participate in many field studies and study abroad programs throughout North and South America. While in college, she also discovered a passion for the rivers of the West and spent a decade working as a summer raft guide, sharing her knowledge and love of rivers and the outdoors at the source.

In October of 2018, Sierra Business Council was awarded the role of program administrator for the Martis Fund’s Homebuyer Down Payment Assistance Program (DPAP). This program provides down payment assistance for median income Tahoe/Truckee locals hoping to purchase a home in the region.
