Truckee Business Town Hall: Business Survival & Winter Operations
December 7 @ 9:00 am – 10:00 am
As California continues the fight against COVID-19, Governor Newsom announced Monday a Small Business Emergency Relief Package that will provide immediate relief for businesses impacted by the virus. The relief package encompasses a temporary tax relief, an increase of funding for the California Rebuilding Fund, and the creation of $500 million in grants administered by the California Office of the Small Business Advocate (CalOSBA). Specific details about the COVID Relief Grant program have not yet been established, but we expect to have more information soon.

On a local level, the Town of Truckee, Truckee Chamber of Commerce, Truckee Downtown Merchants Association and Sierra Small Business Development Center are coming together to host a Virtual Town Hall and Online Survey on business survival. The meeting will share resources and programs that are available, in addition to providing an opportunity for sharing useful information between businesses about how they are adapting their operations, and soliciting input on how we can best support our businesses.
We want to encourage all of our local businesses to participate via Zoom.
