David Jaeger
Project Manager, Climate & Energy

As a Climate and Energy Project Manager, David is engaged in multiple C&E programs in the Sierra Nevada, including the Sierra Nevada Energy Watch (SNEW), Northern Rural Energy Network, Go Electric Truckee Tahoe, and others. David focuses much of his work on building decarbonization, climate action planning, and energy efficiency support for commercial businesses, public agencies, and residents of the Sierra Nevada. 

David brings his experience in environmental, energy, and parks & recreation planning for state and federal agencies, and has worked in the private, public, and nonprofit sectors. He holds a Master of City and Regional Planning from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and a bachelor’s degree in environmental science from the University of Vermont. David is originally from Pennsylvania and moved to Reno in 2018 as an AmeriCorps member for Friends of Nevada Wilderness. David enjoys traveling to new places, hiking around the Tahoe basin, skiing and snowshoeing, and spending time with his friends and family.
