Resilience Fund

Administered and supported by Sierra Business Council, the Resilience Fund is a grassroots loan platform crowdsourcing funds from Truckee / North Lake Tahoe / South Lake Tahoe community members. It is designed to provide immediate financial assistance as well as industry resources and guidance to Sierra Nevada businesses.

Originally founded to help the Truckee-Tahoe region weather and recover from the COVID-19 crisis, the Resilience Fund has scaled to serve a more longstanding purpose: coordinating community resources into a revolving fund and making low-interest loans and a team of professional consultants available to business owners in rural communities.

The Resilience Fund helps keep businesses open by providing:

Capital: Providing essential working capital to local business owners at a critical time when operations have been temporarily suspended.

Coaching: Delivering consulting services to improve business models and systems, leveraging productivity during suspended operations.

Community: Investing local resources into the small businesses that create our communities’ unique characters to prevent permanent closures.
