Erik joined the Climate and Energy team in 2025 after serving as a CivicSpark Fellow. He works on various Climate and Energy Projects, including the Northern Rural Energy Network (NREN) and the Sierra Nevada Energy Watch (SNEW).

 

Originally from Truckee, CA, Erik holds a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology and a B.S. in Kinesiology with a minor in Biology from the University of Nevada, Reno. His graduate studies sparked his interest in the link between the environment and human health. Erik is eager to assist residents, businesses, and public agencies in enhancing sustainability and energy efficiency. In his free time, Erik can be found skiing at Sugar Bowl, fly fishing on the Truckee River, beekeeping with his Dad, or spending time with friends.
