SACRAMENTO – Sierra Business Council’s friends, partners, and greater network are invited to join us in celebrating the Sierra in Sacramento on Wednesday, March 1, 4:30-7 pm.
SBC’s reception for Sierra Nevada friends, advocates, and stakeholders will take place at the Stanford Mansion immediately following the Watershed Improvement Program (WIP) Summit, an annual event hosted by our friends at Sierra Nevada Conservancy, taking place from 1-4:30 pm at the California Natural Resources Agency Building. The WIP Summit’s agenda includes a keynote address from Wade Crowfoot, California Secretary for Natural Resources.

SBC’s evening reception will be focused on building connections between California policymakers and Sierra Cascade issues that resonate across the state.
Sierra Business Council is honored to host the evening gathering of Sierra advocates and California decision-makers. Guests are encouraged to RSVP by Feb. 18th to help us finalize our catering numbers.
This event wouldn’t be possible without the generous support of our sponsors. Thank you to The Nature Conservancy and the Rural County Representatives of California for making this event possible.
We hope to see you there!

As regional conveners of the Eastern Sierra CERF Region, Sierra Business Council is currently engaged in a stakeholder mapping process that includes engaging disinvested community members in a sustainable and equitable economic planning process. Our goal is to provide an inclusive forum in which community members feel encouraged to participate in, and ownership of, CERF plans and strategies that will diversify the local economy and develop sustainable industries, creating high-quality, broadly accessible jobs in this 7-county region.
